Friends first, designers always
Property Sisters Interiors began with two lifelong friends and a shared belief that a well-designed home should be both beautiful and a smart investment.
How Property Sisters began
Alison and Debbie have been friends for as long as either can remember. Long before it was a business, they were the people friends called when a room didn’t feel right, a paint color had gone wrong or a house needed to be ready for market in a hurry.
Alison brought a designer’s eye for layout and flow. Debbie brought an instinct for color, texture and styling. Together they started Property Sisters Interiors to do properly what they’d been doing informally for years.
As more clients asked for help preparing homes to sell and furnishing investment properties, they invited property specialist Lisa Moreno to join them. Lisa’s experience means every project now benefits from a clear view of what buyers and renters want, and where money is best spent.
The way we work
Beautiful and practical
A room should look lovely on day one and still work for you years later. We design for real life: busy mornings, muddy shoes and all.
Value in every decision
We think like property people. Before we recommend a change, we ask whether it improves how you live, what the property is worth, or ideally both.
Honest about budgets
We’ll tell you where to invest and where to save, and we won’t push upgrades that don’t earn their keep.

Alison Hartley
Alison leads the design side of every project. She has spent more than fifteen years reworking floor plans, kitchens and living spaces so they flow naturally and make the most of every square foot. She loves an awkward room, because there’s always a clever solution hiding in it.
Alison writes about space planning, kitchens and bathrooms, lighting and whole-home design.
Debbie Cole
Debbie is the color and styling specialist. She builds the palettes, sources the fabrics, furniture and accessories, and adds the layers that make a house feel like a home. She’s also behind our home staging work, making properties look their best for photographs and viewings.
Debbie writes about color, materials, styling, staging and seasonal decor.
Lisa Moreno
Lisa joined Property Sisters from a career in residential property, where she worked with sellers, investors and developers. She advises clients on which improvements add value, how to prepare a home for market and how to design rentals and model homes that perform.
Lisa writes about renovating to sell, investment properties, rentals and adding value.
“We want every client to walk into their finished space and feel it was worth every penny, whether they’re staying for twenty years or selling next spring.”Alison, Debbie & Lisa
